Coqueto

Coqueto is the biggest and oldest dog in my kennel. I don’t know how long he has lived here. (Pardon me if I say HE) He appeared in my house a good day. We had a big amount of sand in front of the house because we were to build the front fence. When I got home for lunch I saw him lying down on the sand. Since I was in a hurry to have my lunch and comeback to work I didn’t take care of the dog. By the evening he was still there. He had dug a cave in the sand and had accommodated there. He was sick. He was coughing and making the movements for vomiting. I looked for a bowl of water and some food and offered him but he didn’t show any interest. He looked at me sadly as saying “I am dying” Later in the night started to rain and I felt afraid about the dog. I took him to a place where he didn’t get wetter than he already was. The next day my neighbor, who used to have several dogs brought him some food and gave him some medicines. Coqueto recovered his health and adopted us as his family. Sometimes he disappears during some days but he always returns home.
